Day 1
Arrive into Hanoi Guided City Tour of Hanoi Visit Temple of Literature. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake Visit Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy a Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarters Enjoy a Water Puppet Show

Arrive into Hanoi, check into your hotel on your own. In the afternoon we proceed on a guided city tour of Hanoi. We will drive pass the Ba Dinh Square, have a short brief about the city before we reach Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam built in 11th century After that, we will drive to the centre, visit Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple, The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan Kiem Lake and dates back to the 13th century. The lake itself is a picturesque focal point of Hanoi. Next, we take you on a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets. This bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Later, we take you to attend the Water Puppet Show. This is a unique Vietnamese traditional art in which actors and actresses stand half dipped in water and bring the puppets to life. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi


Day 2
Onto Halong Bay

Today, we drive to Halong Bay. On arrival, we board your cruise. Halong Bay is listed as a World Heritage area of outstanding natural beauty. Discover the “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, as your cruise sails through 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes such as Thien Cung and Dau Go. Enjoy local lunch on board. After lunch you will arrive at VungVieng Fishing Village where you can take the local rowing boat to visit the floating village on the Halong Bay Enjoy local dinner on board. Overnight on board your cruise in Halong Bay


Day 3
Shore excursion to Surprise Cave Onto Siem Reap

Today, start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck where the tea and coffee are served. Later, after breakfast, take a shore excursion to Surprise Cave. Return to your boat for the buffet lunch. Enjoy brunch while you continue cruising around the bay. After lunch we disembark the cruise and drive to Hanoi airport for your flight to Siem Reap. On arrival we proceed for dinner and then transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Siem reap


Day 4
Visit to Angkor Thom. Bayon Temple and Jungle Ta Prohm Temple Visit to Angkor Wat, Preah Khan and Neak Pean Enjoy Sunset at Pre Rup Temple

Today, after a brief tour of Siem Reap, we visit Angkor Thom complex. Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, one of the main and beautiful access gates to the temples. Continue to famous Bayon temple and Ta Prohm temple. Bayon temple is one of the most impressive and mysterious temples emerging from the jungle as an incredible forest of heads and is considered to be an architectural masterpiece. The apparent chaos of its dark rooms and interconnected galleries are crowned with lotus flowers, symbol of enlightenment, and are dominated by 200 gigantic stone faces facing N, S, E and W on 51 smaller towers. The facial features are striking and the full lips, curling upwards at the corners, are known as ‘the smile of Angkor’. In the afternoon, we drive to Angkor Wat temple. Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s ancient temple city is one of the wonders of the oriental world. Masterpieces of decorative details as well as of architectural style, its awe-inspiring ruins survive as testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia’s greatest civilization. It is a replica of the universe according to the Hindu mythology. It is composed by the Mount Meru, surrounded by the continents and the oceans. Its extraordinary bas-reliefs, describe some Khmer epics and myths. Angkor Wat’s five famous towers rise into the sky, a geometrical arrangement of numerous galleries, adorned with beliefs and the stone images of celestial Apsara dancers, as well as portals, chambers and courtyards. We later visit the temples of Preah Khan, Neak Peand and enjoy a beautiful sunset at Pre Rup Temple. (Restriction: For visit to Banteay Srei temple, visitor should wear blouse covering arms, shoulders and long skirts covering legs (no short miniskirt or short trousers). Day 5
Visit Phnom Kulen

Today, after breakfast we visit Phnom Kulen. Situated about 50km north of Siem Reap, Phnom Kulen National Park is one of the most revered destinations in Cambodia, as it features Kulen Mountain. Once referred to as the Mount Mahendraparvata - the Kulen Mountain is a cultural and historical resort that marked the origin of Khmer empire in the 9th century when King Jayavarman II announced independence from Java and declared himself as the ‘Chakravartin,’ meaning universal king. Stretching for more than 13km down to the Angkor Plain, the Phnom Kulen is home to a slew of temple ruins and several centuries-old consecrated carvings as well as sculptures. Later we return to Siem Reap Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap


Day 6
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City Guided City Tour of Ho Chi Minh City Visit Reunification Palace Visit Notre Damne Cathedral Visit General Post Office Visit Ben Thanh Market

Today, we drive to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Later, we proceed on a guided city tour of Ho Chi Minh city, Visit the Reunification Palace which is one the most important attractions in Ho Chi Minh City because it was the site where Vietnam war ended. This palace was the home and workplace for the President of South Vietnam. It hosted many important meetings, and greeted many leaders from other countries. In April 30, 1975, North Vietnamese Army tank crashed through its gates and declared the victory of the communist party, ending the Vietnam war. Later, we also make a photo stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post office and stop for some bargain shopping at Ben Thanh Market Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City


Day 7
Visit to Cu Chi Tunnels Visit Cao Dai Temple at Tay Nih

Today, we visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War. The tunnels were dug with simple tools and bare hands during the French occupation in the 1940s, and further expanded during the Vietnam War in the 1960s to provide refuge and a defensive advantage over the American soldiers. After exploring the tunnels we drive to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Great Temple (or ‘Holy See’) at Tay Ninh. The Cao Dai religion, which these days has over two million followers, was founded in 1926 by a Vietnamese man who promptly elected himself the first Pope. It combines the philosophies of Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. Later we return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City<!--EndFragment-->


Day 8
Full Day visit to Ben Tre on Mekong Delta

Today, we drive to Ben Tre, a small town, hidden within the Mekong Delta, which has recently become a destination in its own right. This peaceful retreat offers many charming surprises besides the lush vegetation, snaking canals, and enchanting smiles. A day trip to Ben Tre is a day when you are no longer a tourist but a true resident embarking on a sensory voyage of discovery. Enjoy seeing how bricks and grass mats are made with age old traditional techniques as well as how products are extracted from coco etc. Admire stunning panoramic countryside pictures made of green coconut palms, yellow river streams and colorful local products. Be warmed by the tropical breeze or feel the currents of the cool river water whilst exploring the earthy trails. Taste and smell local exotic fruits, “gardenmade” cuisine or stop to observe and satisfy your palate with a just-made wet rice paper, or coco candies married with green tea. Complete your experience while hearing the sounds of boat, tricycle-motor engine, and certainly the chatting and laughing of local people, modest yet hospitable. Enjoy a local vegetarian lunch at a house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees. Later, we return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Accommodations will be provided in superior tourist-class hotels, or best available tourist-class.
