Varanasi
Varanasi. The spiritual capital of India (also known as Kashi and Benaras). Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the Holy River Ganges. See the ‘bathing ghats’ where thousands of pilgrims pay homage to the Sun God by immersing themselves in the holy water of River Ganges, and the ‘burning ghats’ where cremations are conducted. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later, Visit Kashi Biswanath Temple.This evening, experience a rickshaw ride to the ghats to enjoy the grand ‘Aarti’ ceremony at Dasaswamedh Ghat, conducted every day at sunset by white-robed priests. Allhabad
Drive to Allahabad: Is one of the most sacred cities in India, wherein the purity lies in the belief that after creating the world, Brahma, the great creator offered his first sacrifice at this place; and also because of the important position it holds according to the Hindu scriptures for possessing the holy confluence, known as Triveni Sangam, of the three sacred rivers of India - Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. Famous for its culture and contemporary heritage, the city of Allahabad will once again become a major attraction for foreigners willing to witness the greatest expression of Indian religion, and study and learn Indian culture as the roots of tradition and customs can be easily traced in this land of Triveni Sangam. Ayodha
After a Breakfast Leave Allahabad for Ayodhya. Ayodhya is one of the major holy cities of Hinduism in the Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh. It is said that Ayodhya is the Ram Janmabhoomi means the birth place of Lord Rama and the setting of the epic Ramayana. The epic there describes the Rama's fourteen-year exile and his victory over the evil and return of his wife Sita in the Ayodhya city. This return is from then celebrated as Diwali that is the leading festival of millions and millions of Hindus all over the world. As mentioned, Ram Janmabhoomi that is the Rama's birth place, is in the Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh. Lord Rama, the 7th avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu is considered as the god of the Hindus. Lucknow, a large city in northern India, is the capital of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Toward its center is Rumi Darwaza, a Mughal gateway. Visit Mathura: Birth Place of Lord Krishna.The land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth, has today little towns and hamlets that are still alive with the Krishna legend and still redolent with the music of his flute. Mathura, a little town on the River Yamuna was transformed into a place of faith after Lord Krishna was born here. Vrindavan, a village - once noted for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful youth. There are numerous other little spots in the area that still reverberate with the enchantment of Shri Krishna. Sight seeing The Agra Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world A pristine monument of undying love. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Agra is Known for its splendid marble inlay work like the Pietra Dura work on the Taj, Taj Mahal was built on the banks of river Yamuna by emperor Shajahan in the memory of his beloved wife Ajumand Bano. The site selected for the tomb was given by the Maharaja of Amber. White marble was taken from makrana Rajasthan. The chief architect was Ustad Isa Afendi and Ustad Lahori. Artists were invited from Persia, Turkey and Baghdad. The work of mausoleum began in 1633 and 20,000 workers labored for 17 years to build it. Brindavan
Visit Brindavan: It is not an ordinary material city, for it is eternally connected with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Vrindavan are intimately connected with Krishna eternally, it is said that Lord Krishna never leaves Vrindavan .Continues its position as a transcendental place and certainly anyone who goes there becomes transcendentally purified. Lord Krishna engages in pastimes there eternally. Vrindavana. Anyone who executes devotional service in these places certainly goes back home, back to Godhead after giving up his body."Whenever the Supreme Personality appears, He appears in Mathura because of His intimate connection with this place. Leave Kurukshetra for Haridwar by 253 Km .5 Hrs Bus Journey. Haridwar” – A Way to Heaven. Haridwar is also pronounced as Hardwar by many Hindu pilgrims who consider Hardwar to be the holiest place among all others. It is a city located near the borders of Uttarakhand. Hardwar is a very spiritual place and the presence of the river Ganges has made its recognition more intense and profound. The river Ganges tumbles down to the northern plains from the hills and the sight is extremely reflective and attracts millions of devotee from all over the world.
